9th Grade Connect Academy
Mark your calendar for our 9th Grade Connect Academy on Tuesday, August 5th, where you’ll get the full Lancer By Design experience—meeting your teachers, exploring clubs and more.
We are excited to offer our Ninth Grade Connect Academy to our future 9th-grade students entering high school for the first time. Ninth Grade Connect Academy begins earlier and is filled with FUN activities to acclimate students to the high school environment. Students also get exposed to all the FREE college and career opportunities offered to Lincoln students. Grade 9 students will earn their first high school academic elective credit for attending the 9th Grade Connect Academy.

Details for the ALHS Ninth Grade Connect Academy are as follows:
Dates: Tuesday, August 5th – Friday, August 8th, 2025
Time: 8:30 am. – 12 pm
8:15 am – 8:30 am: Grab and Go Breakfast
Location: Abraham Lincoln High School

During the Ninth Grade Academy, students will:
Learn ways to succeed in high school, such as understanding graduation requirements and the importance of a GPA and reading transcripts.
Meet teachers, staff, and other ALHS students.
Earn 2.5 elective credits for completing the NGA, and receive incentives and a small backpack full of school materials.
Participate in engaging activities designed specifically for ALHS students.
Play Sports or find an activity at Lincoln

Whether it’s hitting the field, mastering a craft, or joining a club, getting involved is your ticket to building skills, making friends, and creating memories that stick.
