Michelle Quattlebaum

Michelle Quattlebaum is a non-indigenous native of Colorado, wife, and mother of three DPS graduates. She specializes in addressing communication barriers, building relationships, and forging unique ally partnerships. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, focused on Intercultural Communications, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, specializing in Human Resource Performance. Through intentional and creative coaching, Michelle has successfully motivated individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals. Inspiring change and continued self-growth in others have also been achieved through story sharing and creative inclusive workshops.

 Through sharing and hearing educational stories, Michelle became a dedicated champion for students and their families regarding access to quality educational options. Healthy learning environments begin with creating a space of emotional, social, and intellectual safety. Michelle’s passion, extensive experience and expertise in intersectionality disrupts the inequitable systems and structures hindering success for all students. Recognizing every family has a unique set of needs, she is dedicated to creating and supporting community, staff, and student  programs focused on increasing culturally responsive education and engagement. Michelle understands and respects the need for diverse learning opportunities. Representing the DPS Shared Core Values she appreciates a community of empowerment and collective accountability begins with collaboration, purpose, and diversity.
